Last night I spent about half an hour on Facebook checking the messages others had left me and stopping in on some of the groups I am a member of. Just this week I created the xk-fourm group and I was pleased to see that it already has several members, groups like that are great ways to tell others know about our forum and other activites you are involved in. Todays blog is not a solicitation (that would be a bad way to start a new forum), what it is is a piece to get you thinking and gather your opinions and suggestions. Forums cost money to operate but I have done everything possible to keep the costs of this one down to the minimum, in doing so the only cost so far are the domain name, software license and monthly site hosting fees (there are no big salaries to pay here). If you would have asked me a month ago if I would consider starting a on-line forum the answer would have been no.
