Haven't been on here in awhile, doesn't seem like there's a lot of activity anymore. But I hope you all are good, pic update of my LJ, happy thanksgiving to everyone even though it's a bit early!!!...
Man its a been awhile since Ive been around here but glad to hear you tackled this! Need that video
Yes. You can't have both loaded at the same time. The Intune can correct your speedo, tune, change gears when/if that happens, turn of mds etc... I've got a decent amount of experience with the...
Oh man that sucks!!! Jeep, just empty every pocket! Good luck man
so wheres this video of the current set up we were promised!!!
In my opinion, for a tiny bit more you can have long tubes by OBX. Yes the low end may be different than with shorties but you can help that with cats, X pipe etc... If I were to go to shorties, Id...
Forgot about the truck light LED headlights and will be doing LED fog lights too
Been a loooong time since I've updated this I feel!!! I've done a lot of maintenance plugs, coil pack, tps, cps, throttle body cleaned, coolant flush, oil and filter, replaced all the studs one was...
Yea Def a leak somewhere. I had that same issue..
Looks good man! The offset mufflers is good in the fact the exhaust has equal amount or close to it, distance before it hits the muffler on either side. Cant wait for the video!
Hahaha yea you may want to consider a crossover pipe at some point to help keep back pressure and scavenging right. Matt explained everything to me maybe he will drop in again
The dual in dual out acts as a crossover that's why there's no need for one. Sounds like a great set up, looking forward to pics and videos!
I ran without one for awhile without any issues. But I had the OME HD lift so the stiff springs in the back and my MTRs reallly helped keep it stable. What lift are you running? Offroad it definitely...
Cause when you do just a standard pan drop and filter change you dont get all the fluid out, some stays in the torque converter. Its normal for fluid to get very minimal amounts of metal shavings in...
Sounds like a clogged filter to me. Get a 2 stage flush done. A 2 stage flush basically keeps the filter in replaces old fluid with new and flushes new fluid thru old filter. Then it drops the pan...
The thing is, that's made for the srt8 transfer case and transmission so the midpipes may need to be modified as well to fit. So since you cutting to add your stock cats it won't hurt much if other...
2006-2010 You'll be able to use. No, they wont bolt up to your cats and midpipes, what you can do is get the stock SRT8 manifolds which are essentially shorty headers, get the stock midpipes and cats...
If you have a WK you can use SRT8 headers, aftermarket ones. The ports wont be EXACT match but it wont cause any issues at all..
Hm stand corrected. Just remember most of those guys have some great supporting mods, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds etc.. Impressive though
In addition, with Jeeps like the XK you want usable power meaning low end. With a bigger cam youll lose low end but gain top end. Going with a 6.1 cam and valve train is in my opinion the best choice...
With any cam application you'll want to upgrade the pushrods at least. Upgrading to the 6.1 SRT8 cam, pushrods and retainers is a common upgrade to get a good reliable boost in performance
Thanks! I sure do miss that thing, spent some good $$$ and time on it... Who knows, maybe my LJR will get a HEMI!
There's a guy on the ram forums who made his own custom true shaker hood and its truly badass!!! I dont think itd look great on the XK though, cowl looks ok. Id say the best look for the XK hood...
Awesome man! Im glad you narrowed down what you want and getting it done, glad I could help!!! Are you keeping both tailpipes on the same side? Thats one thing I wish I did, Matt and I talked a lot...
A true dual set up shouldn't cost you 1k, if it does find a new shop!!! And the Hemi already comes with hi-flow cats so it'd be a waste replacing them. I've done so much research on the hemi and how...
