I have my bars set apart so my canoe fits where I want it. I can feel the floor sag a tiny bit, I try to stand closer to the cross bars when I can. Thats what I was saying in Matt's thread, make the cross bars strong because there will come a time when you will want to stand up there.

I stood on my bars this weekend and at 210LBS they held up pretty good I wouldn't go bouncing on them.
Up dated the first post to include links to all the mods so they can be found better. This might be a good idea for all of us so when we reference our garage thread the mods can be found with links to then in the first post.
Edit: I have 184 posts in my garage that's a lot of post to dig threw if someone is looking for a mod you did.

Sal, I was looking at your storage box and the gear you have stored. You should put a hand full of tent stakes in there. You have a hammer
so extra stakes could be a use tool.
