Who all has deleted their rear climate control lines?

I failed to install my wheel spacers this weekend because of these lines. I'm stuck on one part and looking for some guidance. I am using stock wheels + 255/75 MT/R's and 1.5" Spidertrax spacers

I have my grinder for the pinch welds and I have the ac lines for XK's w/o rear climate control so I'm good on that front. Where I am stuck right now is what to do with the heater lines.

Did you guys snake them back up into the engine bay and just connect them together? If you did, what size are the lines, 3/8" or 1/2"? If I can just connect them I was just going to buy a brass barbed fitting like the one linked below, will that work?

Obviously wont need a five pack but you get the idea. Thanks!

Haha Matt. Since I'm removing the third row they aren't necessary anymore and I'd rather not rip them off with the tires going down the highway lol.

I can't see paying for the new lines when I *think* they just need to be spliced together...which can be accomplished for a dollar or less.

From browsing Sal's thread it looks like he spliced his two lines together. (For the heater lines that is)

Now, to find out what size the line is.

I deleted my rear heat and ac lines a few years ago. I bought all 4 lines (both AC lines and both heater lines) because I got a hell of a deal on them. I'm not exactly sure what Sal did to splice the lines. I figured it would just be easier to use the lines that are made for no rear heat/ac

AC lines for front ac only are:
    55116665AG cost $95.45
    55116909AD cost $26.70
I have the 3.7 and I'm not sure if there is a difference with the 4.7.
Sorry I don't know the heater line part #'s.

I just cut off and crimped the heater lines and spliced the existing lines under the hood. It's been a year and no problems so far.
The AC lines are still intact with no rubbing issues.

I had collected these part numbers a while back to help evaluate and consider options if I ever decided to do this as a future project.

    For a 2010 w/ 5.7

Prices where quoted as dealer list.

    A/C

    55038714AA > $119
    55116909AD > $72 (note Scorpioncrawler listed $26.70 for the same #)

    Heater

    68000979AA > $20 (supply)
    68000978AA > $27 (return)
    2010 Limited > 5.7 > Pearl Black > QDII > 4"¯ Superlift w-SSR > Bilstein HD Struts + 1/4" spacer > RCV cv Axles > JBA 6" Springs + Matt's 1/2" Spacer > BDS adj LCA > 285-65-18 Nitto Trail Grappler MT's > Moto Metal 951 > K&N CAI > Flowmaster 50 > 4xGuard-Front/Belly skids + Grill Hoop w/ Front Receiver + Rear Diff. I think Hemi part numbers were different than my 4.7 liter. I don't recall what my part numbers were
