Color-matched would keep the "break-up" lines a little better. I would leave the headlights alone, when I was fooling with all those similar mods I didn't like the outcome of the lights..... just too much over the top, maybe if the whole Jeep was black.

I retract my earlier statement, would prefer the color match a lot better & now the chrome is not so bad; just not the black out. Now a black chrome setup with smoked head lights might be nice. Just a thought

Ok now that I can come up with a coherent response....

I agree with the sentiment thus far. The only reason I mentioned doing the lights was because i thought the lights wood look too much like mickey mouse ears if they didn't blend into the grill like they do now. After seeing the quick color matched and blacked out pictures, the lights don't look as bad as i expected so I would leave them alone too.

And after seeing the blacked out grill.... i'd definitely go with the colormatched.

This is also the picture that originally made me think of this. When looking at just a shot of the front, the chrome doesn't look too bad.... but when you look at a 3/4 profile of sal's jeep, it's another story. That chrome grills has got to go!

I am sure someone on the other forum would trade for a chrome grill. I think blacked out would be cool, but thats just my opinion

I think color matched grill and headlights. You should also paint the rockers black and maybe the Front Guard as well. Once the chrome grill is gone the guard might look out of place being the only thing not red or black.
