I try to keep spammers from becoming members, I have stopped 3 so far thanks to the screening measures that you all went through.

Some will get through if I cannot tell from the information they provided at time of registration but I will ban IP addresses if it becomes a problem.

Can you make it so only certified members can post things for sale? A certified member would have no less than 15 posts....or something....

Some forums have a 100 post minimum to sell stuff. I like the trail rated badge for members that show up to the trips we have going on that would be cool

We can do that but it woul donly limit them from posting in the buy sell section, spammers do not follow the rules so they would ost the ads everywhere else.

There is a way (recognitions) to do that, I still have to learn how but you get more awards with hight posts and promotion points.
