6.0 in my back yard, maybe 10 miles away. All phone service out here in county. Cant get in touch w/ school. Did yall feel it ?

Felt it here in central NJ. Evacuated my building for an hour.

school is all good. all cells and 911 lines out. havent heard of damage. 6.0 and 1/2 mile deep

My dad and I were out in the garage. We looked at each other and were like what the hell is that!? Looked at the cars shaking and the driveway flexing around.

Were preparing for a hurricane :( Of course I'm to far inland for storm surge or that stuff but the wind rain and lightning causes us problems.

Damage is minimal . My concern is with hurricane Irene also. Could be another Isabel type storm which would suck ass, trees flying around everywhere.

Looks like I misswd the earthquake and my voodoo pushed the hurricane towards Sal, whew that was close!


On a serious note........I hope it swings further east and misses you guys up there.

Dan text/called me - I can't remember. I told him I was on the road when It happened, and it would have registered as a bump or dip in the road to me, lol.
