I just bought my '06...

It's a 2006 XK, 4x4, 4.7L, Auto, w/ 89k

my first "big body" jeep

it's got some flaws but all in all pretty much the most comfortable JEEP I have owned...

From what I have read on here they are just as capable as all the others...Hopefully I get to put it to the test...

Like everyone else lift and tires/wheels are in the plans...

Welcome from texas! Do you have the 4 Lo option (chrome T handle next to regular shifter). If so there's 2 models one is quadra drive II and the other Quadra Trac II. It really comes in handy offroad. I'd guess from you haveing a 4.7L and that trail rated badge(assuming it wasn't added after bought originally) it has Quadra Trac II.

Welcome to the UJ. My first was also a 92XJ - Which I sold this year to a member of this forum. I replaced it with a 96 ZJ.

I lived in NJ once. A whole 2 months fully paid vacation by the US Coast Guard to Cape May. I didn't get much time to see the place. But I learned how to march and follow orders.
