Looking for Help. I Had a bottle of water during a hot day. The bottle began to sweat abit and dripped on the passanger seat. This left a ring on the fabric where the water dropped. Not sure what type of fabric this is so I want to get a proper cleaner for it. Anyone have a good cleaner for these seats.

Mine's got the same water marks on different seats. I'm interested as well.

I have always used Woolite with Oxy carpet cleaner. It has worked really well to get water stains out.

My problem is that I can get the stains out easily, but can't prevent them. I have used multiple layers of Scotchgard, which helps some, but they still show up when something like a water bottle sits on them.

I shampooed my seats when the wife rented the machine from lowes I just used it when she was done and all the stains came out. But as previously stated I have some more stains again :(

I bought some seat towels to hide the stains. I know they are not dirty, however I do not like looking at them. It is like a eye magnet it is all I see when I am in the Jeep. I will try the woolite. Thanks

I use Ajax diswashing liquid on a wet washcloth. I scrub the stain then rinse the washcloth with cold water and wipe up the soapy area. This has always worked perfectly for me. This has cleaned water stains, ice tea, and soda stains. I use Ajax because that's the brand I use in the kitchen. I'm sure any brand would work.

Did a search on Google and found this TSB. It seems they know about this problem. http://www.xkjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_xk_2301506.pdf

http://www.seatcoversunlimited.com/Neo-Sport-p-16152.htmlI took the covers off the seats....yes the bottoms and backs...and threw them in the washing machine on delicate.
The seats looked great. It's a dog to remove the covers, and worse getting them back on.

Maybe a shot of clear coat?? But if you are not carefull, it will look like a stain.

Anyone used Seatcovers Unlimited (http://www.seatcoversunlimited.com/Neo-Sport-p-16152.html) ?

I was thinking about buying new seats. Maybe ill just try to clean mine first and save the money since they will just get stained all over again.

Mine cleaned up easily enough. I'd Scotchguard them, but that simply transfers spills to the carpet... or underseat electronics...
