View Full Version : Props to Dorman Customer Service

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Dorman tech support / customer service.

You may have read in the TPMS thread that I had issues with some Dorman sensors I ordered from RockAuto. I contacted Dorman and got a reply right away from tech support... i have since been working with them to troubleshoot the issue. After trying a few things he sent me out a brand new set of sensors to try and emailed me a prepaid return label to send him the original sensors back. I still had an issue with 2 of the 4 he sent me; and they think the issue may be with a new chipset they started using. So he decided to send me 4 more sensors, all of the previous chipset that they haven't had a problem with. This was also cool because he said to replace the 2 im having issues with and save the other two for later in case the other 2 that are currently working start having a problem. In the midst of our 40+ emails he asks if there are any other Dorman products I could use for my Jeep. I mentioned that i need a tcase motor, but it looks like they don't make one. I did see that they make replacement UCA's for us though....

He's also keeping me in the loop on what they find with the sensors I sent back. I'm hoping the newest set of sensors fix the issue as well since this will help them solidify the intermittent loss of signal issue with a particular chipset.
