Whos got it?

I had to make an "adult" decision and hold off until next week or so to get it. Gotta cover other things before pleasure - I know lame, and growing up sucks.:mad:

So who's got it, and is it awesome?!! I cant wait to pick it up.:cool:

I'm a COD player but after reading some reviews and seeing the trailers I think I might be picking this up and giving a try.

Got it. The servers ****ing suck! It drops me out of every game. I cant even get into multiplayer right now.

The servers will be like that for a bit. Always is with a new game with all the traffic. I was a big COD guy myself, but gave BF2 a try last year and really liked it. Both have their pros and cons but both are awesome games. Haven't picked up the new one yet but plan on it soon.

I've got an Xbox. Servers for COD were the same way when that came out last year. Took FOREVER to get into a game.

servers are down again...

I follow Battlefield on twitter, they have been at it all night fixing server issues. Seems to be across the board, including PC. I hope its worked out by the time I get the game

I really want to buy/play MW3 (perhaps Battelfield as well) but i never have time to even play black ops. I doubt i'll be picking either up although i really want to.

I usually play at night after everyone goes to bed I just get less sleep when I feel like playing i guess.

+1 When COD came out last year, me and a few of my buddies bought it at midnight. We played all night until about 6am. I slept for a couple hours and then work into work for 9am lol. Needless to say I was pretty groggy that day.

Yea it does, but COD switches between 2 developers, Treyarch and Infinity Ward. Its always published by Activision, but they have bounced back and forth between the developers. This years game is developed by Infinity Ward, which personally I think does 10x better than Treyarch. Treyarch does well, but IMO the only thing they have going for them is Zombies, since they are the developers that started that. A lot of people will argue the opposite, that Treyarch is better. But of all the COD games that have been released, I think some of the best were done by Infinity Ward. Just my 2 cents lol.

I've been putting off BF3, but the NYG play at 1, and my girlfriend works late tonight, so I might be making a trip to Walmart this afternoon. Dan - PM me your gamertag.

I played the demo for MW3 it seems pretty cool. I never purchased black ops for some reason just been playing MW2 the hole time. I really ordered MW3 for the online play and from what I've read I think I will like the changes a lot.

I just saw another commercial for this and it does look really good I might have to get this. How is the online play? Is this the one where people can fly planes or drive tanks as well? Just curious how the planes and tanks effect the online play. What kind of maps do they have for online? Anything comparable to MW2 like the objective based maps I'm not really a team death match player I play ground war and demolition.

I didn't get this yet either. But I'm pretty sure they have planes and such yes. Dan and the other guys that have it will know for sure. I had BF2 last year and they did have a few objective based games. I usually played "Rush." It was kind of like demolition.

The tanks effect it more than anything. Planses do there thing but I have yet to be killed by one when on the ground. Rush is a great game type. Long rounds on big maps. The attacking team has 75 to 100 deaths to destroy two objectives. If they destory the two then they get all the lives back and move onto 2 more objectives. There is a total of 4 bases they have to attack so 8 objectives to destory.then there is conquest. (Capture the flag) 3 flags on a smaller map that you yhave to fight for and hold.

That sounds interesting, I looked but didn't see a demo available on PS3 which stinks I like to play the demo a little before I buy. MW3 demo was one mission but the online play is the only real reason I buy the COD games without that I probably wouldn't buy them. The single player missions seem to get less involved and more priority is placed on the online portion anyway.

They had a beta for like 2 months but closed it out 2 weeks before the release..Sal you wont be disappointed.

Cool I just need to find away to sneak this one in. MW3 just cost me like $60 and I think BF3 was around the same price wife might give me a dirty look LOL

the battlefield has always had the vehicles in it , planes, jeeps, tanks, boats, which is always fun. the maps are huge compared to other games which I really like a lot.
