The owner of a local off road shop purchased the land. Last I heard is they were submitting the plans to the county board but no word on proposed opening date. Not surprising though the guys is busy at his shop plus he has a local off road race team as well.

Actually... RC is closer to me (3hrs) than Anthracite (4hrs)

Sunbury is Northwest of Tremont.... I wonder why its a shorter drive for you?

Only 8.5 hours from me.

There is crap here in MI. The Mounds and Sand Lake is about it. Although Jeepskool is only about 3 hours away.

Hey man, you have a link to the details on this. Closest place near me is more or less a mud bog, down at the NC/SC border.

You talking about outback or what ever that park is called close to Myrtle beach? I heard that guy was making more jeep trails. This new one is in Cumberland county near fayetteville. But just about 60 miles more you can be at Uwharrie and it's well worth the drive you should come out on the 12th and go wheeling.

http://www.carolinabackwoods.com/ - This is place in Ash, NC. Been here a couple times early in my wheelin days with the WK. Got water in the cab on one trail and havent been back since.

I would love to be with you guys on the 12th, but I am not wheeling my WK for a little while. I need to make sure this thing is going to last a while, and I want it to be paid off before I do any more crazy wheeling. Maybe in the spring, if you guys go again I can make it.

Heres some vids from the local club im in when we went..

Ya that's the place I was talking about. I go to uwharrie all the time so don't worry you'll have plenty of opportunity to come out. I also go Carolina beach several times a year too
