It's been quiet here the past day or two.... i knew you must've been working on something lol

Ya I had to repaint all the scrapes and scratches I got from the weekend. Plus I had to get all the mud out of the jeep I think my daughter put her feet everywhere but on the floor mat LOL. I also inspected for damage while I was at it. I did notice my drive shaft was slightly rubbing my fuel tank. It's actually hitting the plastic tank a little bit kinda rubbing the top of the skid just a little to. Also my rear wheels rubbed a little while flexed out oddly though they rubbed the rear of the wheel flare where I thought they would be rubbing the front.

Might need to look into that adjustable trackbar... that's on my short list, we'll see how it does when i flex it out a bit next month.

This was the first time I disconnected the rear sway bar as well. I think that's what caused it maybe got a few extra degrees of flex.

Before packing up for RC i did a quick flex test with the jack... Got about 1.5" more down travel with the sway bar disconnected

* this doesn't take into account the differential wheel travel between left & right side. a better test would have been to lift from the axle to compress one side and then measure the drop in the other side since, when connected, the bar acts as a torsion spring.

as your wheel travels upward it also moves rearward due to the design of the rear links. when you disconnect it allows your wheels to travel further.

i had this same problem with 35" tires...

Been running with the rear disconnected for about two weeks now without issue. No major handling issues I'm sure my heavy duty shocks have something to do with this. I may try the front soon not sure yet.
