Just did mine on the 26th. Mobile 1 75-140

Should be 1.5 qts front, 2.5 rear though mine started running out after 2qts.

I always change my oil when the engine is hot. Should the same apply to changing fluid in the differentials/transfer case?

Being hot doesn't really make a difference for the diffs/tcase. For good measure I go for a spin around the block just to "mix" the fluids up before each change so that any particles are suspended in the fluid rather than on deposited the bottom. But in all honesty, if you keep up any decent maintenance schedule there's probably not much benefit in doing that either....

It's all about peace-of-mind :)

Once you change the fluid out go to a parking lot and do figure 8's. This will work the fluid in the differential really well. ASMOIL's 75w-140 is a good choice. (http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/svo.aspx)

@Matt. So you have no problem using AMSOIL?

@Matt. So you have no problem using AMSOIL?

Not at all. It's my #1 preferred differential oil.
