Just purchased a GSI 30FL OZ French press:) taste great with regular ground coffee. I'm going to get the local coffee shop to ground some coffee up just for the French press and see how that goes. I like Foldgers Xtra Black out of the crappy old coffee maker. Everything else just tastes wrong to me. I will however suffer through it for the pick me up.

I read that darker roast has less caffine because it is roasted longer.
I let coffee set for a day sometimes so it is stronger.

I know I may get flamed for this but we bought us a Keurig for Christmas ,the little one cup maker. We dont drink coffee much at home so it does us just fine and when we do drink coffee it is a flavored coffee, ie: Caramel Mocha or the like. Ok, flame away .

What!?!?!? My Coffee maker is programmed to brew at 7:30 like clock work every morning... Just hearing it brew gives me goose bumps... Then there is the smell... smelling the coffee gives me JUST enough energy to walk into the kitchen to grab a mug. There is nothing like the smell of hazelnut in the morning :)

Nothing like some "coffee" flavored coffee. I don't like the flavored crap. I brew Dunkin Donuts at home. I am in the land of starbucks and I can't stand it.

Hey don I bought the Colman coffee pot that goes on the stove. The thing is awesome brews just like the ones you plug in at home :)

It comes with a standard normal basket so I'm sure a screen basket would be easy to find.
