Buddy of mine has a Zj with 200k miles, a wierd random shut off problem and a 5.2 V8. I have a bunch of extra wheels and tires, should I just buy it for $300 and fix it, or pass on this. I really dont need a 3rd Jeep but **** its $300

Pass unless you can make money on it or have some crazy idea you want to try that may destroy the test Jeep. Or you'll probably just have it sitting around collecting dust.

Sawzall the fenders, stuff 33s. It has the ELSD and a V8. Chop the roop and drive it into the ground? Really trying to be reasonable but ...

$300???? Ummm, hell yeah, buy it!

If you can't figure out what's wrong with it (which is probably not a big deal), then you can scrap it for 3x that EASILY.

This. The weight of the scrap metal will give you your 300 back and MUCH more. OR you can part it out and make some money too.
