I looking to put in a couple switches into my commander. It seems like 5 switches would fit right into the little cubby hole on the left of the steering wheel. But I have a switch there already and I want all my switches there to match. Would I be about to replace that switch with a (mom. on)(off)(mom. on) switch? I haven't looked at on of the switches in person, but the switch in my xk has 5 wires coming out of the back. I'm guessing they are, a ground, a power source, one to make the pedal go up, and one to make it go down. Not sure what the 5th wire is for and if another (mom. on)(off)(mom. on) switch would be able to connect to it. Anyone here know if it would work? I took some picture of the switch in the xk.

I'm installing 5 switches, 2 on off switches for extra lights, 1 (mom. on)(off)(mom. on) switch for a winch, another (mom. on)(off)(mom. on) switch for the pedal height, and one (on)(off)(on) switch for a air compressor (not sure if I need that kind of switch, I want set it up so I can use it for a rear locker and to be about to air up my tires). Should I get a new fuse box for this? I also want to wire a CB radio to the battery. Anyone have any good sites with instruction for doing this set up? Any recommendations?

I like working on small electrical motors and stuff like that, but I've never had any formal training. I find it really fun and rewarding to do this work yourself and get it to work. I'm a nursing student to I really don't have much time to take any formal classes, I just like doing it as a hobby. Is this too complex for me? Should I give up and just pay someone else to do it?

Are you getting the saguro switch panel for that spot?

Kind of wish I saw that. I bought 5 of the pieces that snap together. They are a little to big to fit into the slot. I need to cut or grind (not sure which would be easier) the hole a little (like 2mm). I have a DPDT mom. on of mom on switch coming with the 5 pieces. I don't know if that would be able to replace the oem switch or not. After seeing that, I'm not sure if I want to cut up my dash to fit the switch brackets I bought.

As for the other switches, I guess I'll have to tackle each install as I buy them.

I would like to utilize the faux switches under the radio between the heated seat switches
