Correct, on black rock lobo 15x8 with 4" backspace. I had to adjust my steering stops to prevent them from rubbing on the lower control arms, but I have stock arms on drop brackets. If that one has bent lower control arms you might be alright.

So Im running the list of things to do and Im at a crossroads on what to tackle first. The tires are in decent shape, so really point on upgrading to MTRs, YET.. My thought is to get a front locker, but them being gear specific I should probably go to 4.56s now with the locker since Im there anyway. Any suggestion on which locker? DO I need a locker like a detroit or eaton or can I do well with one likes Adams Powertrax? After I figure that out sliders would be another purchase, obviously. The good thing is I have the funds to do these things relatively soon and want to just dont know what way to go with the axles.

06JeepXKHEMI
11-13-2013, 02:55 PM
Running a locker like PowerTraxx front and rear would allow me to lock both axles now without regearing but allow me to regear later. Im still not sure if the rear axle is and LSD or not, it supposedly has the factory towing option but Im not 100%, I have to take a better look.

I don't have a lot of experience with gears/lockers. I have spartans front and rear. I really don't like the front one, but I don't know if it's not working right or what, it unloads a lot and when it does it's a loud pop. The rear isn't so bad, but it still happens from time to time, I've learned how to drive it on the street to keep it from doing it for the most part, but it's still un-nerving when it happens. I'd have selectables if they weren't so much, but if I had to pick I'd put a selectable in the front before the rear and run a lunchbox/ratcheting rear. I have no experience with LSD's except the one I had in a 2wd explorer, and I have no idea if it actually worked or not, I just know it was supposed to have one based on axle codes.

JCRoffroad is having a sale now, and free shipping for anything over $100 so you can get all that heavy steel shipped to you :p

Oh I totally forgot about the weak steering box brace/attachment. Pickup a MORE steering brace before you pull the box off the unibody, it's only about $50 from quatratec. It holds the box to the unibody from the passenger side, while the 3 bolts and questionable spacer hold it to the drivers side.

Will do, Ill look into it. I like the AJs offroad sliders, they are $260 bare metal before shipping which I think is a deal. Im just trying to figure out what to do, I dont think I have an LSD 8.25 as I guess its not common and would mean Id have 3.73. I have to lift it up and turn the wheels to see what happens.

I think doing a rear lunch box is a good ideal as well, but not sure I want to spend $800+ on a selectable locker.. Decisions decisions!!

As long as they were run properly (gaged and fused with proper sizing), you should be good. I never trust that previous owners sized wiring correctly so i'd give it a really close look...

First weekend with it, what did you do?!

06JeepXKHEMI
11-18-2013, 06:02 AM
I set up an appointment with 4wheelparts to do ujoints, diff service and make adjustments. I say adjustments cause we put on the lift and the guy went over the whole Jeep with me, really nice cool guy. I didnt know much about it so it was very informative. Turns out I have adjustable control arms, track bar and drop pitman arm, things I was concerned about that was causing vibes we eliminated. Adam and I determined I have a hack and tap sye kit which isnt ideal but gets the job done. The guy said everything looks to be done right as far as the lift goes, no lift blocks or spacers. So Friday it goes in for the ujoints and diff service, they are going to let me see wahts in the diffs, I have no clue cause the guy I got it from bought it the way it is.

So i did the normal things, plugs wires cap and rotor as well as new air filter. Cleaned up the engine bay to look for leaks and to my surprise nothing concerning. Im going to get new headlights, really considering the LED ones, although pricey Ive seen them on an XJ at 4WP and they're pretty nice. Once I get services done I have to figure out which direction to go first, rear locker? Sliders? Skids? etc..

Ross

You should swap in some XK headlights!

06JeepXKHEMI
11-18-2013, 01:52 PM

I ordered the Rampage H4 conversion headlights to get rid of these pathetic excuse for lights and angry eyes. Scheduled to get drive shaft ujoints and 4wd service at 4wheelparts. They only charge $50 for the 4wd service and they go through quite a bit, wish I had a garage to this myself. I've made my decision on ajsoffroad sliders after all the reviews and going to do the rear quarter panels with grab bar, I've always liked the look. Jacob I know you said you haven't even scratched your skids but its cheap insurance so engine, trans and tcase will be covered soon.. I'll post links of this stuff when I get back on my computer

Here's the link to the rear quarter side guards, they're from Rustys as is the front and rear bumpers, http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-skid-plates/jeep-xj-cherokee-skid-plates/rustys-side-guards-xj-rear-upper-quarter-panel-guards.html

The sliders look exactly like SA ones which is why Im going that route, the extra protection provides good pivot point and these have fantastic reviews. http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com/product.php?productid=17516&cat=250&page=1

From here is going to be where some decisions will be made, but all in due time. Quite a few have suggested doing a front locker, like a lock-right, supposedly it doesnt make any noise or affect performance when in 2WD and for $210 on sale right now Im considering it. Its not the best but with a decent rear and front setup I doubt it'd make that much of a difference.

hoaxci5

Gas tank skid would be my first skid recommendation if your's doesn't have it. (After rock rails) That is my next purchase but I haven't hit it (hard) yet.. but it's been close a couple of times.

I think I'd do gas/t-case and leave the trans/motor skids for last. Once rock rails are on, it pushes that stuff even further up out of the way since you will most likely hit the rails first.

While it's at the shop, I assume they have an rti ramp or something to check the flex. I'd make sure its bump stopped right so you don't tear up the tires your first time wheeling it.

06JeepXKHEMI
11-19-2013, 03:56 PM
I actually thought about that after I posted, Ill take a look and go from there.. I plan on cutting the fenders up front and installing the Bushwacker flat flare, they're pricey but I like them the most. I wont run without flares, I prefer the look with the flares..

hoaxci5
11-19-2013, 04:08 PM
I can't bring myself to pay for bushwackers, but I do really like the look of their flat fenders for sure. I'm not loving running without fenders, but I haven't run into any legal trouble (yet) and I'm hoping to pickup a tow rig so the xj won't see much street duty if that happens. It's pretty crappy driving it in the rain without fenders, water flings everywhere..

06JeepXKHEMI
11-19-2013, 04:14 PM
Exactly! I know they're really expensive its going to hurt a bit but they look clean and even come with a flap that goes in the inner fender well to seal the door jams from getting stuffed with mud. May ask for my Xmas present to just help with that, the other things seem relatively inexpensive things to do, its so easy to shop for these Jeeps!

Those rusty's side guards would be sweet in an XK-variant. Pretty much the same body lines, just a bit bigger surface area.

06JeepXKHEMI
11-20-2013, 04:02 AM
Yea I looked into those, I really like having that rub bar for a few reasons, one being protecting that window, apparently the trails around here can get real tight even for XJs. Other being a grab bar to get to rack and spare. I'm purchasing the lock-right today for the front, for $210 I think its well worth it. After xmas I'll buy a powertrax for rear and sliders. I was going to wait on flares but I've got construction still in my new apartment complex and when it rainsnit literally looks like I went wheeling in clay, so I may get stupid this week..

Ive decided to upgrade the shocks and steering stabilizer, after buying the Fox shocks for my XK Ive decided I want something similar on the XJ. I hate the way white shocks look, not a huge fan of the ride on these and they're really not that great to begin with. Also buying 4.56 gears, lockright front and powertrax rear, after Xmas, just need to find a deal on install.

As much as it hurts to post it up, Im selling the XJ. Ive got 4 weddings, 2 bachelor parties and a company trip to mexico and wont have time to wheel it, so essentially Ill have this thing sitting around doing nothing but daily driving which it sucks at, honestly. It needs 1500-2000$ easy to get it where I want/need it to be and need something more reliable and less of a headache. So my next adventure was going to be a BMW 335i coupe/sport but I honestly dont think I can be in a car anymore so Im going for an 06+ Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI or 2500 Cummins if I can find an affordable one. Still need to keep it in the Chrysler family. Im sure Ill be back in the wheeling world but at least the Ram can do mudding and other trails for larger vehicles... On the search now and will have for sale ad up tonight

Headers will be done very soon and depending on lift I may jump for a 4" lift eventually...

For those that dont have FB, picked up my Ram Friday night and drove it back from NY about 9.5 hrs. Was a great ride no issues just some small things that need to be addressed. Right now its riding on 35x12.50 20s with no fron tlift so rubs on full lock, it came with a spacer lift for the front but they make the Bilsteins 5100s adjustables for the front and seems to be a better route to take, set them at 2.8 the highest setting and be about 1/2" more than spacer lift with better shocks/struts. Also put an intake on it as thats one mod other owners on the forums strongly suggest. Its got straight pipes on it and sounds mean, much louder than my Jeep. JBA shorties are going on soon. With the 35s, I need a wheel with lower offset so will probably jump on the Moto Metal 962 20x12 -44 to give it a broad stance. Here are some pics..

https://theultimatejeep.com/notfound.png
https://theultimatejeep.com/notfound.png
https://theultimatejeep.com/notfound.png

Despite some of the feedback on tires, they ride great and are quiet. Since I dont plan on wheeling or have to worry about snow and would rather put money else where Im going to ride these out. Ill update more once the mods start..

06JeepXKHEMI
03-10-2014, 11:14 AM
Me to, thats why I jumped on this, its nearly done! Little lift, for now at least hahaha.. Im thinking 6" and 37s next year, depending on what Im doing about a house purchase maybe even SC the HEMI..

06JeepXKHEMI
07-21-2014, 08:56 AM
Thought Id update this since I havent since I bought it! Been going back and forth on which way to lift the truck, level it with 1.5" BL, 4" Rough Country or 4" Zone.. Being that none of the lifts provide a level up front Im going to do that first. The rear already has a spacer on it so my truck has more than a 2" rake. In the beginning I was going to get the 5100s as they came highly recommended, but they have been on backorder nationally as we all know. Im glad I decided to wait and do some research, it seems Pro Comp has a Pro Runner SS series adjustable, its not as adjustable as the 5100s, only as two settings, stock and 2.75". A few members jumped on these as they didnt want to wait for 5100s and all came back with great results and more lift than the 5100s at the highest setting. I picked up these for the front and longer shocks for the rear today, with an $80 mail in rebate Im getting all 4 for under $300. Next Ill be doing the 1.5" BL, at first I wanted to do a 3" and be done with a lift, but its a cheap way out and Id like to do right at some point, so with 1.5" BL itll give a slight lift for now and when I add the suspension lift Ill be set for good to get 37s once these 35s wear out. Ill also be adding 1" spacers to push the wheels out some and prevent the minor rubbing I have..

Now that the lift portion is set for now, I recently bought new headlights and fogs as one of the factory fogs has gone out I decided to upgrade. There are a lot of options here so I went with a new housing for headlights that are smoked inside and crystal glass lense which I bought HIDs for. The fogs are just factory replacements that are clear glass as well and Ill be adding matching HIDs to. I know being a truck my headlights will be bright but they are adjustable so Ill be adjusting so I wont be blinding people.. Ill be adding proectors to headlights eventually just cant swing it right now.

Needless to say these mods have been a long time coming and Im looking forward to some results, Ive had the itch for months!!! Ill post pics of everything once they are installed

$125 shipped through one of the vendors on Ramforum.com.. So tried to install the struts but ran into a problem with the lower control arm bolt on drivers side. It also has a 1.5 spacer on the rear springs so I have about .5 inch to full inch rake still which I like. The rear shocks are for 2" lifts so no more bouncing around on every bump. Wheel spacers are hub and wheel centric which were a bit hard to find for reasonable money. Next up headers and mid pipes, my cats are rattling and throwing codes so I have no choice to replace. Probably in a couple weeks, let me know what you guys think

Got it detailed up yesterday, considering what's next on lift side, 4" or just do small BL...

So I know this is a Jeep forum but I trust you guys' opinion more so than on the Ram forums, due to the fact there are so many different tastes and opinions especially on exhaust..
I need to redo my exahust, right not it has a Mufflex muffler delete which sounds nice but is raspy as hell and not a huge fan of it. To make matters worse, my cats are rattling like a SOB when cold, MPGs have gone to **** even worse than before so time for an overhaul. They have JBA LT headers available but not mid pipes yet so Id have to get custom mids made with cats welded in place. The other option is go with a shorty header, get factory replacement mids and cats with a true dual set up. The price difference on shorties to LTs arent much and would hate to spend the money when I could have a better sound and of course better performance. Most say if you're not going FI LTs arent really needed, but for 100$ more is it worth it. The last option is just replace the factory mids and cats with a true dual set up, obviously more affordable and will still net results. Looking for some thoughts on this.. Thanks

Sal-XK
10-01-2014, 04:54 PM
I don't know what "FI" is. But if I had the money I would do the long tubes and have the cats welded in by a custom exhaust shop. I wouldn't put a single stock part back on other then the cats, and might buy new cats based on miles. The weight savings alone should net you some MPG's especially because those stock exhaust manifolds probably way a ton. Going true dual exhaust is up to you. I'm not sure I would spend the money on that because its a truck. Now a muscle car I would spend the money on true duel but that's just me.

07JeepXK
10-01-2014, 06:06 PM
I'm pretty sure FI means Forced Induction. Ie supercharger..that's my guess. LT would be Long Tube Headers

06JeepXKHEMI
10-02-2014, 05:53 AM
Yes, Adam is correct FI forced induction.. The true dual set up really is a desirable thing to me based off the Commanders sound it had, despite being a not so great job done by the idiot who did it. The cost isnt a big difference compared to not getting them done. LTs or long tubes, with new cats looking around 900-1000$ before install, plus whatever muffler(s) Id get. The Ypipe that comes with the LTs does not have cats in it, but Im getting a pair of high flow cats from a forum member to be welded in. I may keep the Y pipe going into a single inlet, dual outlet Delta 40 Flowmaster. If I dont go with cats Ill definitely keep the y pipe and single inlet to maintain some back pressure and avoid any rasp... Really want cats installed though to keep the low end tq numbers up from what Ill lose with LTs, which makes me want to install 6.4 srt8 manifolds, shorties, and custom mids to keep low end up as thats really more important than the extra 10-15hp up top.

Not many vehicles can run that tire wheel combo. The older land cruiser and land rover can run the 15" wheels. Of course the wrangler can run them. I'm not sure if the JK can run a 15" wheel. I'm throwing my guess towards the wrangler. Now which one did you get?

2005 LJ with LOTS of goodies! Skyjacker flex kit with adjustable arms, poison spider protection everywhere, 35 mtrs and regeared. Not sure what gears yet it's in Tampa been a fla Jeep. I'll post more pics when I get it, right now have 2 vehicles, oh the fun!!!

Aw man I'm spooky good LOL My first guess was a LJ I'm not kidding. That's a great Jeep and kinda hard to find in decent shape. Diffidently going to have to meet up at URE. Also check out Wicked Jeeps NC (https://www.facebook.com/groups/WickedJeepsNC/) on face book. Their is group out of Charlotte that meets pretty regularly. We meet once a month down here and been traveling around NC to make the meets closer for people to attend.

That what I liked even more about them, I talked about getting a JKU but everywhere you turn there's another one with the same mods. The whole idea was to reduce my debt to prepare for marriage, house and you know what after. So being able to fulfill one of my dreams, get back into a Jeep and still have the women's Murano to run around in was a no brainer! The suspension the the X Flex which isnt bad, Ill change out to Fox shocks, its got Currie AntiRock, adjustable arms, needs a belly tuck, not sure if MML is done but it has no BL which I like. For most part its a done, turn key and have fun Jeep

Got some bad news regarding the Jeep!!! My dad went to take delivery, drives it off the lot and it starts getting hot didnt overheat but stayed around 215-220 which 210 is normal. So he pulls over its not full with water/anitfreeze. Goes back they fill it then he starts getting a misfire on 2 cylinders at 2500 RPM, so its definitely got some issues somewhere. I cancelled the deal, I just dont feel comfortable buying a Jeep with issues especially at that price. Sucks but Ill find another

Thanks Sal! It is what it is, the guy offered to take it and get looked at but there were other things my dad said just sucked, had no exhaust, wipers were old, they didnt even clean it... 02-18-2015, 08:52 AM
Alright my fellow Jeepers, I need your insight. I have 2 LJs Im looking into. The first one Ill mention is in Fla, its a Rubicon 6" lift with 38" super swampers which Ill be taking off and putting 35 MTRs on, has adjustable arms, looks to be Rubicon Express lift and thats pretty much it. I have a small deposit on it for my dad has time to go look tmrw. That one is about 15.5 with 118k on it, right at what book says it is, yellow in color. Here is link, yes it is dirty it will be cleaned..
http://www.beachbuggys.net/web/used/Jeep-Wrangler-2005-Fort-Myers-Florida/19865427/

Next is a regular LJ unlimited non Rubicon 2006 out of TN. It appears to have 4.5" BDS lift but may be another brand cant tell on shocks, has highline fenders front and rear, winch, CB, bumpers, lights, 35 BFGs, 107k miles at 14k. The dealer said it needs some minor work which its at the shop getting fixed- front brake caliper and leaking trans line. Has no front sway bar but I was planning on adding the Currie AntiRock anyway. Here is the link for this one...
http://www.zmotorschatt.com/2006_Jeep_Wrangler_Chattanooga_TN_247769058.veh

Obviously we are talking 2 sides on the spectrum here and thats where my dilemma is. I know Matt's take is the least modded one to make my own, and I really like the yellow look with black additions, 4.11 gears, 4:1 transfer case, and it being a Fla Jeep. The black one is appealing cause its got a lot of mods Id like to have and I dont mind the minor maintenance that EITHER will have, they are used Jeeps that will probably need a few things, Im ok with that. Just looking for some trustworthy advise from Jeepers I trust. Thanks guys

Sal-XK
02-18-2015, 02:09 PM
As if the LJ's weren't rare enough to find LOL. The Rubicon unlimited adds to its rarity. I think both will require some work because their Jeeps and modified. At least with the Rubicon you get the 4:1 transfer case and bigger axles. But I would confirm through the VIN# Just make sure that's an actual Rubicon first. It would probably take less then 2k to get this one modded like the black one.

A couple of reasons I would buy the black one. First is I don't like yellow LOL. Second is if I know I'll never have the funds or time to do all the mods it already has and have no intentions of ever needing to upgrade axles and stuff and with 35's you won't need to. Also if your just wheeling around NC the black is Jeep is plenty for around here. Now if you plan on going to gulches and trying the crazy lines that's another story.

Even though I think the black one looks better and is plenty of Jeep for the NC area and you can probably get it cheaper. It is how ever hard to walk away form the TC and axles in the Rubicon. I would probably go Rubicon LOL

06JeepXKHEMI
02-18-2015, 02:17 PM
Hahaha Sal great points on the black one! If everything checks out with the Rubi thats the route Im going. And to do the fenders and rockers is about 1k depending on which company I do. The front bumper and winch arent really a necessity for me and there are a ton of nice used ones on the market. I cant pass up a good deal on the Rubicon and Im biased for black and yellow cause Im a diehard STEELERS fan!!!

Thanks guys! Pretty pumped about it, I've been waiting for jeep for awhile hahhahaha kidding. Had to keep this one around, she's awesome y'all will meet her on some wheeling trips.

As far as the Jeep goes, those tires can't stay, to big and really impractical for DD, I kind of starting to like the wheels. But they don't make MTRs in anything larger than 35s in a 15 inch wheel, so I'm struggling to figure out what to do. I'd have to go to 37s I a 17 which are crazy expensive. The 35s are ideal just not sure how small they'd look. Thoughts, opinions etc..

Sal-XK

How far is your daily drive? That does have a pretty big lift on it. 35's are going to look small now because you've been looking at it sitting on 38's. How much wheeling do plan on doing? What's you wheeling style? Do you hit the crazy stuff? In most groups their is always that small group of guys that will try something the rest won't. Do you fit in that category?

I know you really want the MTR's, but I kind of agree with Sal, they're going to look REALLY small on that vehicle if you don't cut down the lift a bit.

You can keep those wheels and get Toyo MT's in a 37" tire. They're a solid tire and about the same price as the 37" MTRs but then you don't have to buy new wheels. With the size tire you're in, there's not many inexpensive options...

Matt
02-22-2015, 07:46 AM
If these aren't sold yet.... might be a good interim solution. Can probably recoup most of the cost by selling your current set too.

http://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-wheels-tires-113/37x13-5x17-toyo-mt-mt-classic-2s-317674/

06JeepXKHEMI
02-22-2015, 08:20 AM
I can get adapters for it, that's not a bit concern. Really wish they made 37s mtrs in 15s, I like having the most amount of tire I can and the cost is significantly less. I'll have to shop around and see what's out there. If I can get something like those you posted with wheels I'll do it and save for mtrs. Still think 37s may be a bit much for the stock 4.11s but we will see.

06JeepXKHEMI
02-22-2015, 08:23 AM
As far as my wheeling style, I'm open to trying a lot of things. That being said I wouldn't risk rolling it, I like to have fun hut difficult trails and get stuck, but doing serious damage just isn't worth it in my DD car.
I work from home so I drive maybe 5 miles a day to the gym and miscellaneous errands, but I want to be able to take this to myrtle and Daytona for jeep week. It needs to be a happy medium, that's why I thought 35s would be great, maybe I'll have to reconsider

Sal-XK
02-22-2015, 01:14 PM
4:11 on 37's is pushing it, but your situation kinda lets you get away with it. Unless you don't mind the larger wheel to fender gap then go with your 35's and save the 37's for the trail or sell them and get some armor. The trip to the beach is pretty flat ground so its not a huge problem running 37's down their. Its not like your going every weekend right. I would ride around for about a month or so and see how it goes. But if you regear, 37's won't be an issue. Maybe truss and weld the axles and you should be good. Or swap out the springs or cut them to drop you down an 1" or 2". Lots of options I guess.

06JeepXKHEMI
02-22-2015, 01:51 PM
I don't plan on regearing unless someone could help me with it, don't have that kind of money with planning a wedding now!
I could find some used ones and play around with it, ideally those that Matt posted would be good, if I could find some mtrs like that I'd be happy to say the least. I won't be going anywhere far often, I'd really keep the 38s it has now if my dad said is wasn't so rough, apparently they aren't worn great and they don't have great on road manners anyway. I could swap out the coils and do 35s, is that all I'd need to do is coils?!?

Sal-XK
02-22-2015, 02:24 PM
Matt is the expert at cutting coils. I'm sure their is more to it then that to consider like shock length and stuff. I was just thinking and typing at the same time LOL Most people run to much pressure in the tires. I run my 33's at a max of 30PSI on the road. My Jeep is light when aired down to 12PSI you can't even tell at all by looking at them. These large tires on light Jeeps need to be aired down or they are really rough. I do think the smaller you can go the better off your on road will be for sure. Even just a 1" smaller would be good and save some weight on your axles.

06JeepXKHEMI
02-22-2015, 03:01 PM
Yea. I wouldn't cut the coils I'd probably just go buy new ones so have correct spring rates, but if that essentially is all I'd have to do I may go that route. But by the time you factor that cost in I'm close to 37s. There is a kid selling 37 toyos but they're 17s so I'd need new wheels. Isn't a huge deal since I could probably get 800-1000 for the current set up you think?

Sal-XK

Shouldn't be a problem getting that amount for 37's. Its worth posting in NC 4x4 (https://www.facebook.com/groups/169927089713938/) face book group if you do sell anything in addition to the normal places.

Thoughts, opinions etc..

hate to say it but grabbing some adapters and some JK moabs for a set of 35x17s would look amazing- I mean it is a rubi after all. I do dig those wheels, but I feel like you could offset the cost of the new wheel/tire set up by selling those.

does it have a full size spare? im pretty sure you could find a set of 4.5" RE springs for cheap or someone willing to swap. great thing about having a TJ/LJ the swap meet section of most jeep websites is flooded with stuff. great rig man, I LOVE LJRs. def on my radar as my next jeep

New, these 38x15x15 swampers are 530 a piece, wonder what I should ask for them alone

You'll have to measure and see how much tread you have left. Then price them for how fast you want them to sell. But don't take to long, now is a great time to sell before peoples tax money is all spent. LOL

Hahaha yea I know! I'm really considering those toyos for 1300, I feel I may be able to talk him down. Then get some cheap 17s, I should be able to offset more than half the cost by selling this set up

Not sure what your situation is but I have sold a few cars and bikes to dealers directly. Just walked in and asked if they wanted to buy my car its that easy. Obviously your not going to make a killing or anything at all but its an option to get out of a vehicle. You could try carmax as well.

Yea those are nice, I'd like them with some 37s.. found out MTRs are on national backorder so I may have to explore other options. Those toyos may be a good option.. now that I've got it out of limp mode, no cel I'm going to enjoy this for a bit. Just these tires are ruthless on the road, extremely unusable hahaha

Been a loooong time since I've updated this I feel!!! I've done a lot of maintenance plugs, coil pack, tps, cps, throttle body cleaned, coolant flush, oil and filter, replaced all the studs one was broke couple looked cracked, tie rodsetc.. also changed out all the speakers and replaced the factory sub in the center console. Switched the top to a bestop trektop nx which is simply awesome!
My most recent change was the wheels and tires. I picked up a set of used 37x12.50 MTRs and mounted them on a set of 17x9 ATX RAVINE 4.5 bs Teflon coated. I sold the TSLs and am cleaning up the wheels to sell those too. I'm going to need a rear driveshaft cause the angle from the transfer case is too much for the stock one so will be calling Carolina driveshaft Monday to get one of those and hopefully get rid of the vibrations under load. After that, there's a long list of things as with every Jeep!! So here are some recent pics...

I'm thinking about getting a stinger front bumper and need to find a tire carrier I can afford. When I bought the mtrs I got 5 1100 and sold the 4 TSLs for 1000, so now I have a spare, just need a wheel and carrier. Also, I've got some stored transmission codes that I need to handle, I'd like to get a cowl intake mod done and exhaust to get the 4.0 some help before I decide to regear to 4.56s or 4.88s... once the trans codes and flush are done, will be doing some wheeling for sure!!!

👍🏻👍🏻 yeah, I think most people have moved over to Facebook or jeep forum. Jeep forum seems the only place I can find answers and questions about these jeeps
