Traded in my GTO back in June, mainly because i was tired of being in a sports car and wanted something a little more capable when im down at the beach.
2006 Jeep Commander, 48k (now 49,936), 4.7, completely and regrettably stock.

This will not be my first Jeep, i have owned a 89 Wagoneer and a 2000 XJ. In the family we currently have, 2 Commanders, an 84 Wagoneer and a 2002 TJ.

My current to do list when funds permit:
Recovery Points
RC kit
Wheels (would prefer to not run wheel spacers)
Thinking about running a 245/75/17 Duratrac

These are the only two pictures i have of it at the moment.

Welcome!
If you happen to cruise down OBX this week keep an eye out for me. (I don't have the lights on the front anymore)

I'm way north at Carova. Just after milemarker 21.5.

If you drive up in the evening, you'll see the XK out there and a few poles in the water

Welcome, from a displaced Rowan Co. member! :p

CAI and a Flowmaster will gain you some extra power. Better gas, new plugs, and a Superchips tune helps, too!

Dang... how do you afford a Commander on a college student's budget?!?!

I had to drive a '79 Bronco while at college... in the early '90's! :p

WCU - on the other end of the state - for reference.

haha long story...so ill just throw up some cliffnotes.

Saved money from youth
Started working while buying/flipping vehicles
Eventually bought 97 Silverado
Continued working and saving
Last year I spent 75% of my savings on the downpayment for an 04 GTO (worst idea ever)
Payed most of it off while working
It started having issues, had to spend what i had built back up to repair it.
Said f' it and got a good trade on the GTO for the Commander
Now just owe some to the bank, should have it payed off by December.

A few of my friends go to UNCW so ive crashed in their dorms a few times, im pretty excited about getting down there. Also, word, the "scenery" is definitely an eye catcher.

I actually had a 92 Bronco for a little while, the best part about it was the bench seat....it was like driving a sofa.
