The new front skid plate will be going to water jet on Monday July 16th so if you are in need of a skid plate keep you eyes (and checkbook) open. This skid plate will cover everything from the radiator support to the transmission cross bar.

Watching this closely. My friend was going to order the 4XG belly guard soon, but this may be the way to go

I have no clue until the first one is complete. The nice thing is that it will bolt right on with 4 bolts and three self tapping screws into the radiator support.

Not sure why you would think that, what would be different on the higher lifts? I can modify if there are different.

Ummm. The 4 inch lift kits use drop down brackets for the lower control arms and also drops down the front differential. A skid that would bolt on a stock or 2 inch lifted XK or WK in that big of a skid would never bolt on a vehicle with a 4 inch lift.

Good to know, I have not looked under a Super-lift. I will have to get my hands on one to see what I can come up with.

Do you need a WK in Phoenix to test fit? I was very close to buying a 4xg front skid plate but happened across these forums. I live in Chandler. Pretty damn sure I saw your XK driving down the 101 a few weeks ago.

Yes I do. PM me with your contact info and I will let you know when they are ready to test fit. I need a Wk for MANY other projects too so maybe we can work a deal on some future product too.

Is there a picute of it posted on this thread? lol not shoiwing up for me. I am definitely interested if this will replace the need for a 4xG Belly Guard? plus additional front protection?

These are two DIFFERENT plates. The front does NOT replace the 4xG Belly Guard, the front runs from the Radiator support to the cross-member for the transmission.

Our Transmission Skid is the replacement for the Belly Guard and works in combination with the Front skid to cover even more area.

I will post photos as soon as I have one finished.

Sounds good. I will not be able to get skids until the end of the year anyway so I will hold off to check these out.

Thanks!
