New Country Fan!

So I usually only listen to classic rock and some new rock; however, my fiance and I just returned from a nice relaxing week on the beach and realized how much we love country! lol

I was always against listening to country based off some of the artists I have heard. However, I really enjoy a nice cold beer on the beach while listening to artists such as Kenney, Mccgraw, and Zac Brown Band along with a few others I don't remember.

Anyone else recently start listening?

I listen to a lot of the Texas country, but there is a lot of stuff I do like out of Nashville. Its just easy listening for long drives, especially by myself. I know many like to drink while listening but I've settLed down in that area. Pretty much only at just a few beers a week.

Kind of a variety of newer hit country. Its a hit and miss imo. If they would stop playing Jason Aldean and Taylor Swift id be happy....

I listen to all kinds of music. Some I like better than others but myself being a musician I can appreciate all of it. I have been listening to a lot more country lately, past couple of years, because the local rock station still plays the same classic rock that they were playing in 1978. My radio at work wont pick a lot up cause of the concrete walls I guess so I have internet radio playing on my computer in my paint mixing room. I can hear it at my paint booth but not out into the rest of the shop. One day Im gonna wire the whole shop up to an amp and some speakers. The country station here in town is all new stuff, I wish they would play a good mix with the older artists but we all know its all about the money. Taylor Swift sells and thats that. Now with that said, I was jamming some Rage Against The Machine the other day in the shop. You can never go wrong with some Rage. :cool:

I said at least in the country side I only listen to country and never heard the new songs. I recognizes her voice and change the channel but I can see the song title to same old crap. in fact she hasn't been on that much lately maybe it's already started LOL They can have here on the pop side :)
