Down here in Wilmington, NC we didnt get too much, a little wind, but mostly rain.

Just a light rain here all day. We are 178 mile drive inland from Va Beach, to the North West. They still say its to come, Im not so sure.

I hope all of you and your property make it out ok. We only had some wind down here and nothing to bad. I'm more worried about the snow its dumping in the mountains because I seem to run a lot over there.

We're getting hit with pretty heavy winds for the past 20 mins or so,but the rain has died down mostly. Hopefully the power stays on. Stay safe everyone!

The storm didnt hit that bad in the buffalo area. Just a lot of rain.

We have been getting pounded, with wind and rain since about 5pm yesterday.
30-40 mph constant and gusts at 60. Power went out at 3:30, I think it is going to be a while.
Our weather professionals are saying the winds aren't going to stop unitl tomorrow, and tonight the worst with gusts to 70.
Another 6" of rain.

It's Cleveland not the Outer Banks.

We've survived in Pittsburgh. Some wind last night, and a LOTTA cold rain, but flooding is even minor at this point. Only 7,850 w/o power in the city @ 8am, so we're gonna make it here!

Wow... That was a wild ride. I hope the rest of Sandy won't cause anymore damage. We got away without any damage, and we still have electricity. Just the cable is out for now. Nice to have a smartphone.

I'm right on the MD/DE border in the "RV Resort", for those that don't know we moved from CA to MD and have been living in our 21 ft toy hauler since June while we try to buy a house in DE since my wife took a job there...

Just received a few texts from Matt. He said that he had no power and barely and cell phone service. He's running off generator power for his fridge but needs to hardwire for heat.

Sounds like they got hit pretty bad. Just glad he's ok!

Yep, it's been rough. I'm also on a generator and playing MacGuiver jury rigging my hot water heater to the generator. I had to come to Flemington to get cell service. Right now I'm in que for gas. Looks like about an hour to get to the pumps.

Im glad to hear everyone on here is atleast ok... Living in Fla for 10 yrs this type of hurricane wouldnt have done much, but up north is not for hurricanes at all!!! I could only imagine if a larger CAt 2,3,or 4 came up this route.
