Well, yesterday I received my order of Husky Floor Mats. Front, Back, 3rd Row and Cargo Area. They were use and i puchased them from Rich Morrison, in VA. I got a good price and i am happy with them. Just that they are gray, and i have black carpenting, but it still looks good for the price.

I also today met up with another XK Brother in New Jersey named Steven (Cloud)from Roselle, NJ. He has a 08 Blue XK. I purchased his running boards and now have them installed on my XK. Now my little filippino wife, will have no problems climbing into the XK. Just think if mine was lifted.. Hmmmm.. maybe 2 inches will be ok.. Then I will have to get the Drop Rope for her AGAIN.. lol...

Any tips to doing the transmission pan drop on the 545RFE? I just did mine. What a PITA!!! It's worth it, though. There was a bit of sludge around the magnet and on the bottom of the pan. Sludge may be too harsh a term, but there was some stuff there. I like knowing there are fresh filters in there.

Wire n coax is just running down my dash n under my floor mats. This is a great radio. I like that it has a weather alert so when I am traveling in the midwest when that time comes again next year I will be ready .

What do u have it bolted to?

What do you mean by bolted to? The CB bracket is held on to a board (that I covered in fabric) with some tap-in doo-dads I got from Lowes to hold the bolts. Then, the whole contraption is held to the dash with some mighty big velcro. It holds really well with zero rattling or movement. Plus, I can easily remove everything, and I didn't damage the dash at all.

Just order 9006 & 9005SU. Looking for better brightness. I already did the fog lights with the ST. I am sure there will be a bigger different than stock.

That sounds about right. I just roughly measured the area on the dash.

Just put in low n high head lightbulbs in before the snow arrives. 9006 + 9005 both SYLVANIA SU seems much better but wont really know until I do some night time driving.
