While I was installing my lift over the past weekend I forgot to remove the rear spacer from the RC lift I had before.
That had me thinking & wanted to know what you guys thought of this.

Can I run this setup with out causing issues? It would be under the limit with out the bracket right?

The Setup I am talking about is this,
OME HD Springs & Struts up front with 2 Rusty's Off Road 1/4 " spacers
OME HD Shocks & springs in the rear with the RC rear spring spacer

For the front you'll have to put new studs in the strut mount or you won't have enough thread. I personally wouldn't do that since the OME HD + 1 spacer is already ridiculously close to the down travel limit of the suspension, and you're really not going to fit much larger of a tire to make it worthwhile.

I forget, how tall are the rear RC spacers? I thought they were 1.75

I will have to relook to see what size the rear spacer is.

THe edit funtion is failing at this time so will retype my last reply.

I will have to look again at what size of the rear spring spacer that Rough Country uses for their 2 BB lift. I am thinking you might be right with it being 1.75.

Does the rear sit way higher than the front??

it does have a rake right now, because I have not gone back & removed the RC spacer from the rear springs. I also have one of Matt's rear spring spacers in there as well. So it is OME HD Spring with the RC spring spacer & Matt's 1/2 spacer.
Also I only have 1 of Rusty's 1/4 " strut spacer on.

The reason I still have it the way it is right now, is because I will not have a chance to get the jeep in garage again to do the work on it until this weekend.

I do like the lift I got out of it, and I do feel there might be enough threads to put another spacer up front just not sure yet.

I haven't posted after measurements yet because it is dark when I get out of work, and having 2 kids under 4 does not allow me a lot of time in the morning to check.
I will try to get them & post them this weekend.

I put the rocky road 3/8" spacers on this weekend with the OME HD and there is still some thread left above the nut.... somewhere between an 1/8" and 1/4" I would think without going to measure.

I am running this same setup with great results, I am still sitting at just a hair under 38" on the front fenders with only 265's. On the rocky road website they say the spacer amounts to 9/16" of total lift.

I just measured mine for the hell of it, im just over 37" and am running a slightly taller tire than you guys.

Curious... for you guys measuring close to 38", whats your center-of-hub to fender measurement at ride height and then at full suspension droop (jack up from the crossmember).

I'm trying to remember when I measured this, but pretty sure I was under 2" of suspension droop with my current setup. If you guys are almost an inch taller....

I will be able to get all the measurements this weekend.

If I recall correctly I sit somewhere around 38 inches but I have 285/70s

EDIT: I just looked in my garage thread and I was at 37 3/4 inches when the tires were new.

1829

this is how it sits right now
I still need to take measurements this weekend

Currently it has the OME HD Springs & Struts. Along with Rusty's off road strut spacer 1/4 " & RC rear spring spacer along with one of Matt's 1/2 " rear spring spacer.

Looks like you might want to bump up to a bigger size tire now.
