Has anyone had to replace one on their 4.7? Is it a PITA? One of mine went and threw the check engine light. Wife said the Jeep cut-off on her twice this morning taking the girls to school. So I will be replacing that, just wanted any suggestions or to get an idea what I'm in store for. Thanks
Spray some PB Blaster on it the night before, make sure the exhaust pipes are cold, use an O2 socket and you'll be good.
Dont use an open ended wrench!
Oh and replace with an oem sensor. These vehicles have sensitive heating circuits and tend to not play nice with aftermarket O2 sensors

Like Matt said. On the 4.7 liter you MUST use oem dealer o2 sensors. I learned that the hard way. Cost me lots of money. Won't make that mistake again. And if I recall correctly the weren't that expensive. About $40-50 a piece with my discout
