While working on my computer and looking in my "Commander " folder I can across an old article I had saved a long time ago and almost forgot about.

Interesting reading and Mods to include steel front and rear bumpers. Sorry about the separate links but it came out in separate editions and I don't know how or if I could combine them into one.

Just FYI....

Jeep Commander to the Rescue

Off-Road Adventures magazine and the Placer County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team came together to build the ultimate Jeep Commander rescue vehicle. The idea was to take a stock, Hemi-equipped Commander and turn it into an uncompromising off-road machine. During five months (between July and November 2006) the Commander underwent a significant transformation, as it was lifted, equipped with bigger tires, fitted with performance intake and exhaust kits, and many other serious mods. You can read about the project from beginning to end by following these links:

I only have 2 comments:

1) I like how they give Trailmaster credit for the lift on the last page! lol

2) Not impressed. I bet if this guy updated his garage, that "build article" couldn't hold a candle to it: http://www.theultimatejeep.com/showthread.php?1942-1USMC-s-Garage
