So I am looking to put on a pair of HIDS.

I am interested in a little brighter light but not blinding lol also I want it to be white with a blue tint.

Anyone have any suggestions? Andrew I know you changed yours; how do you like them?

Go either vvme or ddm tuning. 6k is the brightest light with a very slight blue tint. I have 8k vvme in mine check out my garage thread.

Good deal. If you check on ebay you can get em for like 35$ from vvme. Post pics when you install!

Do us all a favor and don't drive around during the DAY with your HID's on. Makes you look like a douche... IMO.

That being said, I love the look at night.

HIDs are definitely a great addition, but dont chimp out and buy **** ones like I did, spend $100 on quality.. One of my ballasts went out when driving home from Rochester at night on 390 which is dark as hell in the rain.. I switched to Sylvania cause I didnt feel like waiting for a new ballast.

I hear ya man. How is the install? Cant see it being difficult swaping the lights.

The lights are simple part, making sure you have everything plugged correctly is simple enough just follow the install instructions and make sure you have a good relay kit. I wish I hadnt cheaped out on the kit and got a nice one, well worth the extra money when I saw a friends set up

Andrew I've been running my 35$ hid lights for over a year and haven't had a problem. I know people who have been running these and ddmtuning hids for years without a problem lol. Use a relay!

Granted I do to, you also dont have the elements and climate changes we do.. Youll hear good and bad things about everything you can mod, but when youre driving like I was and have a head light go out, you'd wished you'd spent the extra coin!!! haha

Yeah the next small mods will be fog lights yellow 3000k, and I want to do the interior lights all white. Anyone have some links for white interior lights? not real bright ones

Links below - this mod seems very straight forward, but it might be too bright if you are looking for not real bright lights.

I like the look, real clean. But does seem almost too bright. Maybe if I have 40 bucks laying around one day I will buy the kit.

Heres a link to a thread on JF. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/replacing-interior-lighting-leds-1273578/

The ebay kit is here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-WHITE-LED-INTERIOR-BULB-KIT-Jeep-Grand-Cherokee-05-06-07-08-09-10-/251255608575?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a800054ff

EDIT - Doh just saw you have an XK, I'm sure the install/kits are very simmilar

Honestly, after driving last night, I already miss my HIDs.. the Sylvania's are **** compared to the 6k HIDs I had. Im bent on buying a more expensive kit when its up for sale, but definitely miss those lights..
