color of climate control and vehicle information center lights

Does anyone know what causes these to light up green, is it the bulb or a filter or something else? I need to replace some burnt out bulbs and since they're white without being lit up, I was wondering if it's possible to change the color they light. I was hoping to go with blue and then I'll be replacing the foot well lights with blue as well, if it's possible to change the console lights color.

Pretty sure the light Is white and there's a green filter in there that makes it appear tealish. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Wouldn't be able to tell you. Mine have been out for years now

Thanks guys. I guess when I'm in there replacing the lights I'll have to figure out where the filter is and if it can be replaced
