So I discovered water IN the fog light casing. Any ideas on fixing it or how the heck rain got in there? Or maybe when I washed it?

I've got moisture (fog? ) in one of MY fog lights. CLEARLY there's a crack in mine somewhere - and a BIGGER crack in yours.

Sounds like it's time for a junkyard visit!

Yeah I may ask my mechanic if he knows a good junk yard lol

Is there a risk of this causing an electrical issue?

I gotta HARDWIRE my CB radio today, because my left front cigarette lighter is burned out. Hope my foggy fog light isn't the cause!!! :p

One of mine collects water [sometimes] as well. When it does, it's usually after coming out of the car wash and not just from the weather.

I have a small crack in one of my lenses and now have started getting some condensation in it.

It hasn't risen up high enough on my " To do " list to replace it. I did read one time that someone, that was under warranty had their fog lights replaced when they had condensation or water in them. Probably wont work in my case with the cracked lens .

I need a junk yard close by that has XK's !!

Corey, did you get this fog lights replaced at some point? I only ask cause when I replaced mine, they started doing the same thing.. I was going to take the lense off and reseal it, which is what Id suggest to do, you'll pop the bulbs at least with water in there

Hey Andrew, I have never replaced them but that doesn't mean the 1st owner didn't. I intend to take the lense off and check it out. I did notice that the fog lights a separation from the actual light. The water is between a plastic wall which is separated from the actual light from what I can see; therefore, I don't see it ever hitting the actual bulb. I am sure this was a design plan for situations such as this.....not sure

I will post an update whenever I get to this

Mine did the same thing. One of them got so much water in it that when it splashed on the hot bulb it burst. All I did was drill a small hole in the front bottom portion of the light and I haven't had any problems since and it's been over two years.
