Lighted License Plate Frame

In preparation for the steel bumper I picked up this plate frame. It has both an LED plate light and a brake light. I'm not sure if i'm going to hook the brake light or not.

For $15 (ebay) i'm happy with it so far. I was expecting a flimsy frame but its a pretty sturdy metal frame. We'll see how long the plating lasts (worst case it'll get painted).

My only gripe is the extremely small wiring on it! Not that its not sufficient for the power being supplied, but because I couldn't strip & terminate them easily! My strippers go down to 22 guage but they wouldn't work, so I had to use a razor blade.

Soldered on some larger wire and did a quick functional check using the 4-pin trailer harness. Before the bumper gets here i'm going to put some weatherproof disconnects on so it's quick plug & play for the install.

Hahaha like how you threw that In there!!! The guys at the car wash would laugh at me cause I'd spend so much time cleaning under the Jeep, but You could have ate off it! Looking forward to seeibg this bumper lots of preparation for it
