Level up title & icons

So I was thinking about it and I thought I would ask your input...

When you join you are a junior member and letter move up to senior member, I thought we could come up with some more appropriate titles or at lease have fun trying.

So what are your ideas? Like new members who just sign up and have fewer than 5 posts could be "mall crawlers".

Help me set titles ans how many posts members should have to move to the next level. We can have many levels as once it is set up the rest is all automatic.

I am a person who generally tends to make longer posts instead of several smaller individual thought posts. This makes my post total small. :( How incorporating about some sort of time element to get promoted?

How about a special designation for those of us who have been here since the start?

Recognition for events attended or trails conquered? Although on further thought to prevent clutter maybe this would be better as an acomplishments screen in the profile section. Maybe it could count for experience but be listed elsewehere?

Any chance of making the "on a distiguished road" green dot customizable? Maybe you could just make it for paying members as incentive to support the site?

I would also love to see something like a trails conquered section of the profile, avatar or signature. Not just as a way to brag, but looking at what others have done would inspire me and give me suggestions or where to go.

I willl check into it, I have not played wiht those features yet.

Deffinately needs to be a little closer on the thread count. When you have a newbie with 50 reading "playing in dirt" and then a post whore (aka Sal) with 1500 reading the same thing, the spread is too far apart.

I think at 3000 you need to quit posting and go wheel....or wash it.

Lol exactly... hence the title I came up with. However if most of us stick around for 5+ years we'll all eventually hit 3k

Check out the edit I made when I quoted you. A lot of forums do an increasing rate instead of a constant.

I was on phone I missed that one. Something like that sounds good though. Any new ideas on names I know if you read the thread there are few in here already.

If we end up with an Ultimate Jeep web address I would probably add a level that is 2001-3000 posts as "The Ultimate Jeep"
