It's time for new front brake pads, and I'm trying to decide between Centric Posi-Quiet Extended Wear and some Raybestos Enhanced Hybrid Technology. They're both the same price.

I've had good experiences with Centric on my wife's Honda Pilot, so I'm probably leaning that way, but I wanted to see if anyone had first hand knowledge with these.

So, I got what may be a good deal on brake pads and rotors. I went with some Pro Stop drilled and slotted rotors, along with their premium pads. I got them on Amazon - they were on sale for only $100 shipped. It's hard to beat that for rotors and pads.

The little I found about them online seem to suggest they are fine for normal use (I don't tow, but I do offroad sometimes). I'll let you guys know what I think.

I'm very pleased with Hawks pads. Good stopping power and no squeaks.

I've never heard of Hawk pads, I may have to check them out.
I'm still happy with Pro Stop - Since I wrote the first post I've begun seeing their advertisements. I think they may be a pretty large company
