I bought this grand Cherokee of my bro in law and it started making a loud whistling noise that stops after a while , it's not the serpentine belt, already replaced it . What could it be ?

Does it have a stock air intake, or an aftermarket one?It is a stock air intake now , but it was aftermarket when previous owner had it .
