Widening stock wheels....Possible?

Is this possible, has anyone done this with their stock XK wheels?

I know of a place that widens steel wheels but I'm not sure if our factory wheels can be widened. I would like to keep my wheels but also like to have a nice outer lip for a better "look".

Any info would be greatly appretiated, thanks.

No one on the forum has widened their stock XK wheels. I dont even know if it would be possible with an aluminum wheel.

That's my issue.......I don't think you can cut the center out and weld in a new wider barrel, being an aluminum center........

Found out that if it was a two piece wheel, it can be done but the price was out of hand. So, I'm scrapping this idea and just going to save up for aftermarket wheels.

Good choice. You can get nice wheels for cheap. You just have to look around.
