First things first ignore all the badges on your jeep and you can't get ripped off. This post will show you how to manually confirm what 4x4 system you have.

There are three available system in the Jeep Commander they are from most capable to least capable as follows.
QD2- ELSD (electronic limited slip differential) with 4LO
QT2- BTTC ( Brake torque traction control) both open diffs with 4LO
QT1- BTTC ( Brake torque traction control) both open diffs no 4LO

Confirm you have a 4x4, you can do this two ways.

Step 1- Look for the transfer case underneath the Jeep it is located here

Step 2- You can also look for the CV axles (half shafts)

If you have these then you do have a 4x4 system installed on your jeep. If not you rear wheel drive (4x2) and yes the XK/WK did come in 2 wheel drive.

Next we need to confirm which system you do have now.

Step 3 Look inside the jeep next to the shift handle for a chrome T-handle like this one.

If you don't have this then you have QT1.
If you have this then we need to confirm which drive system you have

Step 4- Count the bolts on the rear differential cover.

If you have 12 bolts then you have QD2
If you have 10 bolts then you have QT2

Thats it if you followed these steps you have visually confirmed what drive system your jeep has.
