AZ Camping locations

Do any of you AZ guys have a good camping spot within 2-2 1/2 hours of Phoenix? I haven't been in years, and it's getting to be time to go here in the next couple weeks. I'm looking for pine trees and maybe a creek or good hiking trails.

Some good places IMO are Willow Springs lake, Woods Canyon, and Christopher Creek all near Payson. Check this site out for some camping near Prescott. http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/prescott/index.shtml
If you are willing to do some more driving like an hour more head up to Show low or Greer some of the most beautiful countryside youll see here in AZ.
