How do I change the name of a link pasted to a thread or in my case, my signature?

Ex: I would like to make http//blahblahblah/threads/1234 appear as "My Garage"...and be clickable for others to be directed to my garage.

Think CICo knows. I believe it was him that told me how to do it in the other forum. It's been a while and now i've forgotten what i did.

2 ways:

1) Type what you want the link to read as, highlight that text, click the link button (globe with a chain link), paste your link and hit enter.

2) Click the link button, paste your link, hit enter, type text you want to appear.

Take out the * for the field. you can color, bold it, and add underline too so it looks like a link.

^But that would be the anti social way to find out the answer.....
If he did that there wouldn't be a link to "Superacerc's Galoshes" on the forum. I had to click it to see where it would go. It was a suprisingly familiar link.
