I see this quite frequently where people are trying to figure out their clearance. Well, today I measured mine (wanted to know if i'd clear with lights mounted on my roof).

Details:

My garage opening is 83" to the first solid object. I didn't deduct height for the weather seal because that'll just flex out of the way... and it's only 1/4" or so anyways, I doubt anyone here is going to give themselves less than 1" of leeway.

My XK has just shy of 8" of clearance from the tallest part of the roof.

Specs: 2" RC kit, 245/70/17 tires, Monroe load levelers in the rear (brought the rear up 1/2" over stock).

Edit: lol on a side note, i love WHITE... my XK is so freaking dirty right now and yet it looks like it was just washed/waxed in those pics.

I have banged my roof rack and driving lights on the garage door before too.

Because you forgot they were on there?? lol my buddy did that with his new bike on his roof rack. It was raining and he forgot it was up there... tried driving into the garage, didn't work out too well!

2" lift 265\70\17 MT's rage roof basket on the upgraded (sport) cross rails. 6'10" to the top of the basket. I hit the weather seal every time I go threw the door so I guess I'm the one dude that gave himself less than an inch LOL and with the tank on Empty it rubs the header a little bit. I had to adjust the garage door setting so it opens past my header. :)

I've got about 1" with the lift and Yakima rack.

I have about 1" with my rack on, but I would have to remove the spare & the hi-lift jack that is attached to the roof rack, so mine will not fit in the garage. I as well have a 2" lift on 26/70-17's MT's

Same here, maybe an inch above the roof rack. (More like 3/4")

I just simply wish I had a garage.
