View Full Version : XK-forum same as Porn?

It has become much more difficult for me to keep up with the forum lately. Within the last couple of weeks, the surf controlling software at work has decided to no longer allow access to XK-Forum. Better yet, when it tells me why it is blocked, it says because it considers this a sex site!

I know how some people feel about their Jeeps. Many of us have even slept with our Jeeps out on a long trail. But a sex site....really???

I'm still waiting for my phone call from HR!

Is there any other kind of fine print on the error message? Does it say what software they are using to prevent you from viewing someplace?

I didnt keep the browser up for very long... as soon as i read something along the lines of "this website is being blocked due to 'sex' content" i found that X in the upper right hand corner ASAP. I work for the DOD and they take porn and illegal sites very seriously on government computers.

Maybe i'll try it from a coworkers computer and read the warning a little better hahahaha

I'll check tomorrow but I've been accessing the site fine from ft Bragg computers. Although it's been a few weeks since I logged on from work.

I have been able to log on forever, but just last week it was blocked. Not sure why but I am encouraged that it sounds lick it is on all government computers and not just me. If I can change something on the site to get it off the list I will, maybe I will have to get a backdoor domain name.

Works fine from the Coast Guard Network Stations and they seem to block everything.

I used to be able to access the site. It was literally yesterday that it didnt work and caught me off guard.

Don... keep using keywords like "backdoor" and this site will be blacklisted forever!

I logged back in at work today to see if there was any more useful information on who classidied the site, and it logged in instead of the error screen. Thank you thank you....and my "customers" thank you also as I will be much less grumpy at work again!

I sent and email off to them again to review the category listing.

I just used [email protected] which is what it says on the their website unless you have an account with them..

Cool thanks. I went to their website but wasn't sure if that was the best method.

Someone should tell them the "other" site is porn and block all of those guys :)

Matt

LMAO.
Na I like that site. It acts as a filter for the people who sign up just to ask one question and never return.
