It's TrialByFire's commander.. if he's fine with it I'm fine with it being used, but it's kind of rough, I think I could do a better job if its actually going to be used.

The angles aren't really right, but Knappster do you know what font was used to orginially create the XK part of it? I might be able to work it a little more if I have the font to work with.

IF and I do say "IF" we want to include the WK crowd we will need to keep our eyes out for rig to share the header space. I can throw my Commander in there too if there is space :)

Maybe we will need a Header contest and change it up every 6 or 12 months?

A rotation would good, that way everyone would have a chance to represent.

I think a 6 month or yearly rotation would be good. If (IF) we make the site dual hatted, we could do one of each up there for the rotation.

I also think that having a more "aggressive" header pic will catch peoples' attention when they click this site after doing a google search. Ya know... it shows what this site is really about... not just a stock XK photo. Might peak interest to keep looking further into the site.

MAYBE even have the header pic be a link to the voting thread... so you can click the header and see what other pics/nominations were in the running.

What about a photo of the Commander driving across the "XK" letters and then if we add the WK we could do matching letters with a built rig on those letters too.

Using the idea of an XK on the letters, on the left side put an XK climbing the XK letters and the right side have WK climbing WK letters, both pointed toward the middle..

Pack of new-port 100's did you see the box of 3M 7" floppy's OMG LOL The ancient phone lines you don't see anymore and the awesome wood panels. I can't tell what is on his monitor it looks like a web site but based on the era of the decor and equipment those type of pages didn't exists.

There are many options in this forum software, you just have to know how to download them. I am not skilled enough in this area so I hire out that kind of stuff, maybe someday I will have figured out enough to add a few more.
