First Concert?

What was your first concert?

Mine (at least that I remember) was Presidents of the United States of America, I won tickets from the local radio station (89X in Detroit) when I was in 8th grade. My mom wouldn't let me go with a friend, so I asked if my Aunts boyfriend would could/would take me.. he did, now he's uncle but we are only about 6 years apart..

I took my 2 year olds to a Sublime concert, it was an outdoor venue at the local fair so it wasn't exactly a huge deal and I'm sure they won't remember, but I had a good time :p

I have friends in some serious bands and I go to see them play at clubs and stuff.... just never really had the urge to go to a concert.

Wow, difference in personalities for sure. I'm hoping to go see Rage Against the Machine the end of July.. just working out details since it's a real concert and the kids shouldn't go. They are the one band I have felt like I missed out on. I had tickets to see them with the Beastie Boys back in like 2000ish but Mike D from Beasties broke his arm doing something stupid on a bike and they cancelled the tour and then RATM broke up and I never got to see them. So this is one of the few occasions I'm willing to pay a lot of money to see a band. I have to fulfill my highschool/college musical concert dreams :)

And who doesn't love some peaches or lump?

First concert Pearl Jam in Chicago at soldiers field. I think it was in 94-95 time period. I caught MR. Potato heads feet they threw at the crowd all I could get, obviously it shattered pretty fast and helped my brother in law get one of the drum sticks that got tossed as well. I was fighting hard that night LOL
