hey whats up all? I just got an 08 commander (or should I say my wife since she is the one driving it the most lol) last weekend. Kind of an impulse buy so I dont know much about them other then we both really like it so far hence why im looking all over the net for info and what not.

I only have a couple cell pics. I would like to lift it a little bit to get rid of the raked out look. My wife doesnt want it lifted due to the fact she is like 5.5' lol. As far as plans so far just to tint the windows and put in some screens in the headrest for my daughter

Whats the specs on the Ranger?

lol 2002 4.0 5sp with a 8.8 4.10ls. 3" lift on 33x13.50s 15x10 with 3.625 backspace and a mild torsion crank. I have lots of pics and trips with that whcih is another reason we are not really in a big hurry to lift the jeep. I have a hole rubbed in seat from my wife getting in and out of it lol. by the way im a bit of a picture whore!!!

I used to wheel the hell out of my 98 explorer that I had 35s on. My friend is just finishing up a built 5.0 swap in his ranger.

nice!! I would like to do the 5.5 rcd or straight axle it but want to wait till I get another truck and just use it as a play rig. Its my daily driver right now.

lol mine was my DD too... commuted to college with it. I just had a TT, body lift and perrys fiberglass fenders.

nice my work comute was 86 miles roundtrip so I tried not to get to crazy. Scary thing is the jeep gets way better mpgs

Probably the only time I have seen someone optimistic about the mpg the Commander gets!

yeah no kidding its not to good we averaged 16.08 last tank and the ranger averages bout 12.8. The commander is our best ecomomical vehicle lol

What does your jeep have in it bro. I'm guessing by the pics you have 4.7L which 4x4 system did you get I'm guessing QT2 I see your missing the tow package though.

yes it is the 4.7 and not sure on 4wheel set up got to count rearend bolts lol. i wish it did have a tow package but i really dont have anything to tow with it that my truck wont pull.
