I took my Jeep down to Moab this weekend and went on Gemini Bridges, Bull Canyon, Long Canyon Road, and 28 miles of the White Rim trail. This was my first time doing the offroad thing so I went on easy to moderate trails. I had a blast!!! The senery is out of this world and I was impressed with what my QT-1 was able to do for me. I am certain it could handle more than what I put it through. I will post more photos ASAP.

Shafer Switchback... that was a fun climb. About 1500 feet in 10 minutes.

I'm jealous of course that's one of dream spots to go wheeling. Glad you had fun and it all worked out.

White Rim Trail

The Shafer Switchbacks are really spectacular! The final switchback that goes along the edge of the 600 foot cliff is about as exposed as you can get.

Was the White Rim trail open all the way through, or did you have to come back out the same way you went in? I had heard a rockslide made it impassable.

We had to exit the same way we came in because there is a portion of the trail on the green river side that is impassable because the river is so high. Before we started the trail we were talking to a park ranger and he told us that the green river is about to beat the record that was set back in the 50's. Just so you all know Utah broke many records this year for snow fall... It is June 14th and Snowbird ski resort still has a 145" base. People will be skiing on the 4th of July this year. CRAZY!!!

We traveled about 29 miles in on the White Rim Trail and camped at Gooseberry by the only tree in miles. I love that tree!!! Before we left that morning I gave that tree a nice cold bottle of water.
