Thanks, It was the 79 FSJ's fault that I'm a Jeep guy now and the KJ got my wife hooked.

Nice jeeps I like the KJ I think it would be fun to chop that thing up and see what it looked like. I like the basket as well nice job.

I too like your basket. Any chance you could post some info? How did you bend the tube, construction tips, materials?

I was on call one weekend when I was in Colorado so I built this at work
I used 3/4" EMT
A Greenlee conduit bender

Expanded metal
mig welder

The corners flattened a bit because of the wall thickness (and the bender) but I works alright for me. the welds were also hard to make because of the wall thickness
I kept burning holes in it
