DELAWARE COUNTY, OH) June 30, 2011 – A man was arrestedyesterday, June 29, 2011 around 9:50 a.m. after trying to run people over withhis truck and ramming into the garage of a home on Cloverdale Drive in Galena.Deputies responded to a report of a man driving a truck into the caller’s yardand trying to run people over. While on their way to the scene the deputy wasadvised that the man had also struck the caller’s garage.


Sheriff Walter L. Davis III said, “When deputies arrived on the scene theyobserved two damaged trucks, a large hole in the side of the house, and otherproperty damage. Witnesses advised deputies of what had occurred.” Deputieswere told that a construction crew was working at the incident location pouringconcrete for a new driveway. The cementtruck was partially blocking the roadway when a lawn chemical truck wanted topass by but was unable to.



The driver of the lawn chemical truck, later identified as34-year-old Kevin Kindrick of Plain City, became irate and threatened to runthe workers over. Kindrick then droveover the curb and into the yard and proceeded to chase the workers and other individuals with his truck. Kindrickcontinued to chase people, struck twovehicles, damaged numerous pieces of equipment and tools, and drove throughthe yard around the side of the house and rammed his truck into the side of thegarage.


Sheriff Davis continued, “Afterstriking the garage Kindrick left the area, but returned just minutes later todo the same thing. He drove through the yard, through the freshlypoured concrete, and all around the front of the residence attempting to hitthe people with his truck.” The homeowner while in the garage did sufferinjuries to her leg as a result of Kindrick’s actions. No other persons wereinjured.


Kindrick fled from the area in his truck but was later found in Sunbury wherehe was arrested and charged with Attempted Vehicular Assault and Vandalism.Kindrick is currently being held in the Delaware County Jail.
Sheriff Davis said, “Luckily there were not more people injured or even killeddue to this man’s road rage.



This is whydrivers need to be alert and calm while on the road.”

This goes beyond road rage. I'll admit, i have my own road rage fit every now and then but its usually over as quick as it started because i realize how stupid it is.

To do what this guy did, well, that just means a lunatic was behind the wheel of a vehicle. Why blame it on road rage? Like Chris Rock said, "whatever happened to 'CRAZY'? Can't people just be craaaaazy anymore?".

I agree, this goes far beyond road rage.
