So I have been reading a few posts on this forum and others and it seems to me that the WK is considered by some to not be a real Jeep, something that was once said about the Commander but proven wrong time and time again by many owners on this and other forums as well.

Since the launch of XK-Forum.com; THE ULTIMATE JEEP COMMANDER FORUM, I have struggled to find ways to promote the site and keep it in the top of the search engine listings. It is a hard task to accomplish since the owners of the Jeep Commander are a small percentage of Jeep owners and even smaller percentage of automobile owners.

Todays blog is not a solicitation (that would be a bad way to start a new forum), what it is is a piece to get you thinking and gather your opinions and suggestions.

Forums cost money to operate but I have done everything possible to keep the costs of this one down to the minimum, in doing so the only cost so far are the domain name, software license and monthly site hosting fees (there are no big salaries to pay here).

If you would have asked me a month ago if I would consider starting a on-line forum the answer would have been no. But last week I though about all the time I was spending on-line working on "other peoples" forums and thought I might as well put that effort into somethig that I have a stake in.
