If you would have asked me a month ago if I would consider starting a on-line forum the answer would have been no. But last week I though about all the time I was spending on-line working on "other peoples" forums and thought I might as well put that effort into somethig that I have a stake in.
Now do not get me wrong, I do not regrete the time spent on the other forums but I was putting in about four hours a day with little or no recognition or appriciation from the people who allow me to "volunteer" for them. The members were great, but every once and a while us worker bees like to hear a word of appriciation from those we work or volunteer for.
So now a new forum is alive and I am learning so much more about what it takes to really pull off a sucessful forum. I have no intention of "stealing" members from any forum, my hope is that this forum will become so popular and useful that members will choose to at least add it to the list of regulars that they visit.
My desire is that this Commander Forum will be a place where Commander owners will feel free to not only talk about their Jeeps but anything else that is on thier mind through the blogs and home page.
Many members are involved in so many other great activities and this blog section will give you an arena to share your thoughts, activities or anything else that you think needs to be shared.
So jump in... the water is warm, the drinks are cold and the people are friendly.
