Brake Noise
One of my brakes is sticking or rubbing. I have this humming noise that goes away when I tap the brakes. It doesn't happen all the time and doesn't seem to associated with turning the wheels but I don't hear it at highway speeds. It's kinda has a rhythm to the noise it's not a constant noise. I can't tell if it's the right front or right rear I just have it narrowed down to the right hand side. I just did the rear pads and I used brake luge on the back of the pads as well as the slides so those should be good. Any thoughts of ideas I'm thinking of pulling the wheels today and check things out.

did you change rotors too or just pads?

Check to see if there's a rust lip on the surface where the inner pad rubs against... well, the outer surface would cause it too but you probably would have seen it when you put the pads on

Ya took a good look at the rotor took a few measurements and it seemed straight. I know I checked for a lip on the outside I can't remember if I checked the inside now that you bring it up.

A little ridge develops on the outer edge of the rotor. That will cause some noise until you wear it off or turn it.

No I haven't had time to pull the wheels yet. It's only happening when I turn right but I can't tell what wheel it is coming from.
