Holiday's Garage
So here's the beginning of my green brick's evolution. Starting with a solid foundation: 2006 Commander Limited, HEMI + Trail Rated = QDII:cool:
Got heated seats(new to me, kinda weird ) Leather, dvd/nav(aka most useless setup EVER{No BT or AUXin}) Triple sun roof, alloy 5 spokes(17") and a bunch of stuff nobody cares about.
First mod was installing the 4xguard Matrix with winch mount assembly that I came off of Ross' sweet 3.7 XK. That's it for now, looking to lift it asap, but trying to decide if i want to go all the way with OME or start with a 2" RC, and save up for a more complete setup later. One thing is for sure, there's more to come. I can NOT leave anything automotive alone. :D

I always did like that color green on the XK.

Awesome. The RC is a good starting point man... cheap, easy to install, functions great and gives you a taste of the 2-3" lift world before spending a lot of cash and realizing you should get the 4" superlift

^^Yeah, the colour wasn't my first choice, I really wanted a white one, but they're extremely rare apparently, at least in hemi 4x4 trim. But the green ahs definitely grown on me. Wouldn't matter what colour it was honestly, after my first test drive, I was sold on it. I absolutely love the thing; everytime I walk out the door and see it I smile.lol
^And yeah, I'm sure I'll be ridin' high in it one day, but not now.lol "Small beginnings" as they say(As small as a Hemi Commander can be).

I was actually looking for a green one when I was shopping for me second XK. I ended up with another red one LOL. I think you will be happy getting by with the RC lift. I used it on my last XK and wheeled the snot out of it. Made a few wranglers look silly along the way as well. If you plan on going off road your money will be better spent on armor anyway.

Love the Jeep Green Metallic!
-
Damn Sal hit the nail on the head..... id spend $150 on a lift $650 on armor any day over spending $800 on a lift and $0 on armor if you're going wheeling. A belly guard and sliders will pay for themselves in one wheeling trip.
