Just picked this Kahr CW9 9mm this week. 14/14 in the 10 ring at the standard 15ft. distance for CCW classes, which I'm enrolled in for this Saturday. Can't wait.

Congrats on your purchase and good luck on your class. I've had my permit for almost a year now. It only took Wake County 80 days to issue my permit :(
I've heard good things of the CW9. Good luck with the class. At least in AZ you don't need the permit, only if you want to travel with recognition of your right in other states.
My Wisconsin license arrived in about 45 days. I submitted my app the first day our concealed carry law went into effect. I hear the WI DOJ is down to about a week now that they have caught up after the inital surge. 84,000 approved and issued licenses since 11/1/11!
My Utah permit took nearly the whole 60 days the Utah BCI is allowed to approve or reject a couple years ago.
Nice purchase, you can't go wrong with a kahr. Personally I would of went with the pm9 or cm9, they are smaller but recoil a bit more.
I got my liscence(sp?) In about 2 weeks! Gotta love Florida for thier gun friendly laws!
congrats ! but i got one word for ya , fotie-fy !
I really considered the CM9 but it just felt small in my hands, I don't like my pinky hanging off the gun. and the PM9 is great but double the money. I also considered the Glock 26 or 33. You can call shenanigans on the grouping without a pic and I failed to take a pic before my dad and I kept going at it. I'll save Saturdays target.
I hear you, .45 has the power but, I wanted low recoil for a carry pistol. My Sig is interchangable between .40 and .357 Sig. I prefer the .357 in that gun. I loved shooting my .50AE but it was just a ridiculous gun.
I have the CW9 as well. I thought I wanted a PM9 but it was so small for me, that I couldn't take it out of the holster in one motion. I had to pull it with my thumb and forefinger and then get another grip. The CW9 fit me better.
